Assisting with our internal workflow management system including booking in of client records.
Providing a outsourced financial processing service for clients.
Preparation of VAT returns.
Preparation of other statutory forms for filing with Companies House.
Use of accounting packages to include IRIS, Sage, XERO and other cloud hosted packages.
Preparation of management and year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies.
Company Secretarial matters.
The role is to be based in our Durham office. The successful candidate will join our audit and accounting department and be graded as an Audit and Accounting Assistant. That department consists of twelve individuals at different levels of qualification / progression.

NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE
The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £4.15 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £6.15 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.70 for anyone aged
